Galway’s PHE shortlisted for Workplace Wellness Award at SFA National Business Awards 2026

Galway-based design firm PHE has been announced as a finalist in the Workplace Wellness category of the SFA National Business Awards 2026, a recognition that highlights the company’s commitment to fostering a supportive, healthy and people-focused working environment. The announcement comes as the Small Firms Association unveils this year’s finalists, showcasing the excellence and innovation driving Ireland’s small business community.

PHE, a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, 3D specialists and interior visualisation experts, has built a strong reputation for delivering comprehensive design solutions for both residential and commercial projects. Working closely with a trusted network of partners, the company provides an end-to-end service—from initial concept and greenfield planning through to full project completion. Their advanced 3D and interior visualisation capabilities enable clients to explore and understand their finished spaces long before construction begins, ensuring clarity, confidence and creativity throughout the design process.

Announcing the shortlist, Sue O’Neill, Chair of the SFA judging panel, praised the strength of this year’s entrants. “The strong engagement with this year’s awards programme shows the continued resilience and determination of Ireland’s small businesses, who consistently strive for recognition of their hard work,” she said. She noted that alongside nine award categories, this year’s programme also celebrates five exceptional Emerging New Businesses, highlighting the ongoing growth of entrepreneurship across the country.

For PHE, the nomination reflects not only their high-quality design expertise but also the culture that supports their team’s wellbeing and long-term success. The winners will be announced at the SFA’s gala event in early 2026.
