Kasabian singer swaggers back

Best known as lead singer of Kasabian, Tom Meighan will return to Monroe’s this Sunday, November 30, from 8pm, following the release of his latest album, Roadrunner.

His voice is instantly recognisable as co-founder of the renowned band.

Meighan contributed to more than five million sales for the multi-award winning group, and has drawn comparisons with the swagger of Liam Gallagher.

In 2023, Meighan returned with his first solo album, The Reckoning, earning strong critical responses, with reviewers praising its emotional clarity.

The release led to a sold-out Britiah arena tour supporting Noel Gallagher, marking his first major run of shows since leaving Kasabian.

Following this, he has performed at the Isle of Wight Festival and with Richard Ashcroft at Audley End launching his second solo album, Roadrunner, earlier this year.

Meighan’s solo work highlights a more reflective approach than the explosive image associated with his earlier career. His shows combine new material with Kasabian classics, maintaining the sound that first brought him widespread attention, while introducing his solo art.

Don’t miss your chance to catch Tom Meighan at Monroe’s Live for his Raw 25 tour on Sunday, November 30, from 8pm, with support from Matt McManamon.
