Galway Community College is now enrolling for its Adult Education Part-Time Courses starting in January 2026.
Whether you are looking to develop new skills, explore a hobby, or gain a qualification, there is something for everyone in this year’s line-up. Courses range from practical hands-on workshops such as DIY (carpentry, upcycling furniture, upholstery ), Arts and Crafts (painting and drawing, jewellery making, sewing, knitting, flower arranging, interior design ) to Language Studies (Spanish, Irish, Sign Language ), Beauty and Wellness (makeup artistry, an introduction to the Alexander Technique, holistic care and wellness, yoga ) and Academic Training options include Human Resources and Business Management.
“Our part-time courses are designed to be accessible, affordable, and enjoyable,” said Siobhan Hawkins, Director of Adult Education at Galway Community College.
“They provide a welcoming environment where people can meet others, learn at their own pace, and gain confidence in a supportive setting,” she added.
Courses take place in the evenings at Galway Community College, Wellpark Road, making them ideal for those balancing work, family, and personal commitments.
