Gardaí in the county are investigating two fatal road incidents which took place over the weekend.
They are looking for information on a fatal single-vehicle collision with a pedestrian on the Galway to Tuam road, at Peak, Loughgeorge, on Friday, October 31, at approximately 11.42pm.
Gardaí are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision or other motorists who may have dash cam footage to contact Garda Denise O’Halloran, Galway Roads Policing, or Galway Garda Station on 091 538000 or on the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111.
Meanwhile Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a fatal single-vehicle accident at Cappadavock, Lavally in Tuam on Sunday, November 2, between 4:00am and 5:30am. A sole occupant of the vehicle in the collision died in the incident.
