Treatments
Anti-wrinkle and Dermal Filler treatments have people coming from surrounding counties to reap their rewards. “They are very safe and effective, with quick results with very little downtime,” Dr Saoire explained.
The Anti-Wrinkle treatment offers an effective, non-surgical solution to help reduce lines and wrinkles, leaving you with a fresher, more youthful appearance.
This treatment targets common areas where wrinkles form, such as around the eyes, forehead, and mouth, helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and prevent new ones from forming.
Dermal Fillers help to restore volume, smooth wrinkles. The hyaluronic acid-based fillers help to achieve a more youthful, refreshed appearance while maintaining natural-looking results tailored to your features.
The Skin Booster treatments are designed to stimulate collagen and elastin production, helping to rejuvenate your skin from within. Whether you want to improve skin quality, reduce fine lines, or boost hydration, skin boosters deliver a natural, refreshed look without adding volume.
Polyneuclotides are a form of Skin Booster treatment and one of the newer treatments available in the clinic. “It's the Salmon DNA that's injected into the skin to rejuvenate particular areas. I have people booking in ahead of time for regular intervals and coming in once or twice a year.” Boylan said.
Peels and Microneedling go hand-in-hand with the injectables. These treatments are more often targeted at younger patients or patients who are preparing for events like weddings and birthdays.
Success
Speaking on her successful practices, Dr. Saoire explained, “It all started with an interest in helping people to regain their confidence. That one-to-one patient interaction and continuity of care are so fulfilling.”
“It's a nice opportunity to help people and to have the opportunity to be open and honest with them about treatments.
“I'm trying to offer an environment that doesn’t involve the sales pressure, really trying to stick to what’s needed and what the patient wants, rather than trying to sell them products or treatments.”
The industry
Speaking on the past, present and future of the Asthetics industry, Dr. Saoire shared her thoughts on the change in attitude towards the industry: “The industry definitely has changed over the years. People are more open to the idea of getting treatments than they would have been in the past.
“The taboo around Anti-wrinkle injections seems to be dying off a little bit. People aren’t afraid to go and do something for themselves anymore.”
Top tips
Coming into the winter, Dr. Saoire also shared her top tip for combating dull skin. “In the wintertime, incorporate a vitamin C serum into the skincare routine. In the cold weather and dark evenings, the skin can go dull, and the vitamin C helps to reduce that.”
Dr. Saoire will be taking a much-deserved maternity leave at the end of the year, but will be back in the clinic in February to continue doing what she does best.
