Celebrate Samhain in Galway with a spooky three-day event at Brigit’s Garden from Saturday, October 25 to Monday, October 27, from 12pm to 4pm.
The veil between worlds is thin, the fairies are roaming, and spooky fun awaits all the family. Dress up in your best costume and join us for a day of giggles, gentle scares, and magical mischief.
Brave the gruesome ghosts’ treasure hunt, where goblins, ghosts, and ghouls lurk among the trees. Follow eerie clues, peek into the coffin in the crannóg, and gather the magic letters to complete the spell and banish the ghosts. Every young person who finishes the trail will earn a small prize.
Gather round for storytelling with master storyteller Rab Fulton, who will send a shiver down your spine with his playful Celtic tales.
Then pop into the thatched Roundhouse for spells and smells with the Wacky Witch. Stir her bubbling cauldron, mix funny ingredients, and help her cast silly spells to chase away the garden ghouls.
There’s even more frightful fun in the Halloween Marquee with spooky crafts, face-painting, and games for your little monsters.
The Garden Café will be open with delicious seasonal treats and warm drinks.
From Tuesday, October 28, to Sunday, November 2, you can still enjoy the gruesome ghosts’ treasure hunt, without the other activities, included with regular garden admission.
