Claddagh Credit Union has announced the five recipients of its annual Unicash Bursary, awarding a total of €5,000 to local students to support their third-level education. Each of the five students will receive €1,000.
This year’s Unicash Bursary winners are Peadar Delaney, Annalee McHale, Claire Holland, Ciara Ni Dhomhnaill, and Liam Conneely.
The Unicash Bursary is designed to ease the financial burden on students and their families as they pursue higher education. With this latest round of awards, Claddagh Credit Union has given over €115,000 in bursaries over the years to support students in the community.
“Education is a big part of our community, and we are delighted to continue our support for Leaving Certificate students through the Unicash Bursary,” said Ted Coyle, deputy CEO at Claddagh Credit Union. “We understand the financial pressures that come with pursuing a degree, and we are committed to helping our members achieve their educational goals.”
