Ryanair launches winter schedule for Knock

Ryanair has announced its Winter schedule for Knock Airport, with routes to the winter sun and cool city breaks at the lowest fares in Europe.

Ryanair’s Director of Communications, Jade Kirwan, said: “Ryanair is pleased to launch our Winter 2025 schedule for Ireland West Airport Knock, with 10 routes to popular winter getaway destinations, like Lanzarote, Malaga, and Tenerife as well as exciting city break destinations, like Edinburgh, Liverpool, and London, giving our customers in the West of Ireland even more choice at the lowest fares."

Knock Airport’s Managing Director, Joe Gilmore, added: “On the back of our busiest summer season on record, we are pleased to see such a robust schedule of services available this winter with Ryanair. This winter, our customers can choose from ten destinations across the UK and Europe, with the addition of extra flights to UK cities such as Edinburgh, Liverpool and London, as well as four weekly flights to sunspots such as Lanzarote, Malaga, and Tenerife."

Ryanair wants to continue to grow at regional Irish airports, like Ireland West Airport Knock; however, it urges the Irish Government to support these airports by expanding the scope of the Regional Airports Programme (RAP ) 2026-30.

At present, the Irish Government supports airports with fewer than one million passengers. Ryanair believe it should be changed to at least three million passengers per annum, which would allow regional airports to grow traffic without being penalised for doing so.
