The Ballybane Community Hub is inviting locals to two special events this October — a free health check and a winter cookery demonstration — both aimed at supporting health and well-being in the community.
Free Health Check – Wednesday, 1st October at 7pm
All are welcome to drop into the hub for a free health screening, where a registered general nurse will be on hand to check blood pressure and blood glucose levels. This is a great opportunity to take a proactive step in monitoring your health, and no appointment is necessary.
Cookery Demonstration – Thursday, 2nd October at 7pm
The following evening, join the hub for a hands-on cookery demonstration featuring two classic French winter warmers: Beef Bourguignon and Chicken Chasseur. These hearty dishes are perfect for the colder months and are sure to warm both body and soul. Whether you’re an experienced cook or a beginner, all are welcome to attend.Both events take place at the Ballybane Community Hub, 30 Béal Srutha, Ballybane, H91 TW27. Parking is available adjacent to the Ballybane Library.
