The incident occurred between 8am and 10am on Sunday, September 14.

Gardaí in Tuam are investigating a criminal damage incident at Gilmartin Road.
The incident occurred at 2:02am on Wednesday, September 10, when two vehicles were set alight.

Gardaí in Salthill are investigating a criminal damage incident at Corrach Bui estate, Rahoon, Galway city.
The incident occurred at 11:23pm on Friday, September 12, when two front windows of a house were broken.

Fatal Road
Traffic Collision,
Dublin Road,
Galway City,
September 15, 2025
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the Dublin Road, Wellpark, Galway city.
The incident occurred at 8.45pm on Monday, September 15, when a collision involving a bus and a female pedestrian occurred.
The pedestrian, aged in her 80s, was pronounced dead at the scene, and her remains removed to University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators have carried out an examination of the scene, and the road has since been reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision or any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam ) and were travelling in the area between 8.30pm and 9pm on Monday, September 15, to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
