Leapmotor Ireland, the newest entry into the Irish electric vehicle market, has announced the official list-price for its T03 compact car.

Launching this October, the T03 will retail from €18,950, inclusive of SEAI grant and VRT rebate, and it will come loaded with standard equipment, including a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, 15-inch alloy wheels, reversing camera, heated exterior mirrors and a keyless start system.

This positions the all-electric Leapmotor T03 as one of the cheapest new cars in Ireland. It will come with a five-year warranty.

Measuring 3620mm in length, the T03 will be available in one trim, 'Style', with a choice of four colours and the promise of "class-leading equipment".

Part of the Stellantis Group, the Leapmotor T03 sits on a 37.3kWh battery with a claimed range of up to 265km and a quoted energy efficiency of 8.06km/kWh. A 30 to 80 per cent DC charge takes around 36 minutes, according to Leapmotor.

The Leapmotor C10 will join the T03 this October, with prices and standard equipment for the family SUV set to be announced imminently.

Gowan Auto is the national importer for Leapmotor in Ireland, and says the new brand will be available across the country through its existing, well-established retail network, appointments of which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Gowan Auto is already the exclusive importer and distributor of other Stellantis brands in Ireland including Alfa Romeo, Citroen, DS, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Opel, and Peugeot, together with Honda.
