HYDE Bar once again cemented its reputation as the place to be seen on Ladies Day during Race Week in Galway. Following the glamour and excitement of Ballybrit, the city’s most stylish racegoers made their way to HYDE Bar for one of the most anticipated fashion events of the evening — the HYDE Bar Best Dressed Competition.
Judge Pam Richardson-Hoare, no stranger to standout style, was joined by fashion influencers Laura Burke and Aisling Finn to undertake the difficult task of choosing a winner. With head-turning outfits and fabulous flair at every table, the decision proved nearly as tough as the one made earlier at Ballybrit.
After much deliberation, the coveted title of Best Dressed was awarded to Sinéad Bohan, who wowed the judges in a stunning red dress and an exquisite headpiece of her own creation — a true showcase of personal style and creativity.
The prize package, worth a dazzling €4,000, was sponsored by a host of style-savvy brands including Tanqueray, HYDE Hotel, Suit Select, Diamond Factory — who contributed a stunning pair of diamond earrings — and renowned artist Rachel Webb, whose artwork completed the luxurious prize offering.
As the sun set on the racecourse, the atmosphere at HYDE Bar was electric — cocktails flowed, live music played, and laughter echoed through the venue. The celebration spilled seamlessly from the track into Galway’s most fashionable nightspot, where style, sparkle, and spirit were in full supply.
HYDE Bar has become a firm favourite for post-race festivities, and this year’s Ladies Day event proved why. Stylish, sophisticated, and effortlessly fun — there’s simply no better way to end a day at the races.
