Zebraworld is organising a family-friendly fundraising event on Saturday in Arus na Gael, Dominick Street, from 2pm to 6pm.
Zebraworld is a not-for-profit group run by people from different nationalities with the aim of integrating different communities and asylum seekers into the community in Galway.
Current activities organised by Zebraworld include free English classes for asylum seekers and video nights. Ongoing and future projects include a monthly day out for the residents of the centres, video nights in all centres, and more free English teaching.
In order to finance the projects the group are organising the event on Saturday which will feature live music, food, face-painting, and activities for children.
