Imagine browsing through an extensive fashion wardrobe and choosing exactly what you want without having to worry about price tags?
That is what is in store for fashionistas at a clothes swap being held in Moycullen tomorrow (Friday ) evening in aid of local charity Cancer Care West.
The event takes place upstairs at the Forge pub and restaurant from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is €10.
“Most of us have that dress we wore once or the pair of shoes we could never match with an outfit,” says one of the organisers, Sarah O’Halloran. “Old clothes shouldn’t die, they should find new life with a proud new owner.
“All you have to do is bag any clothes, shoes and accessories that you wish to pass on. You are then given the opportunity to go through the clothes of everyone else in attendance and take whatever you want. Extra credits are given for designer pieces. Items are only accepted in excellent condition.”
