Known for their catalogue of music spanning more than three decades, this is a glimpse into their music, stripped down to its acoustic bones.
With hundreds of songs in their back pocket, the Cork band will treat fans to iconic hits like ‘After All’ and ‘Fashion Crisis Hits New York’ alongside timeless tracks such as ‘How Can I Exist’ and ‘Landslide.’
Each song reveals a different chapter in the band’s journey.
Paul Linehan will share the stories and anecdotes behind these songs, giving fans insight into the vibrant, sometimes surreal, world of life in a legendary Irish band.
Founded in Cork in 1989, The Frank and Walters carved out a unique space in the Irish indie music scene, winning over a loyal fan base with their quirky, upbeat sound.
Named after two eccentric Cork characters, they achieved breakthrough success in the early nineties with their debut album Trains, Boats and Planes.
By 1993, they were gracing stages alongside the likes of Radiohead and even met Paul McCartney when they performed ‘After All’ on BBC’s Top of the Pops.
After years on the road and a string of successful albums, the band took a breather before returning with new material and fresh energy, delivering favourites like ‘Grand Parade’ and ‘Beauty Becomes More Than Life.’
Through all the highs and lows, they have stayed true to their indie roots, keeping their connection with their audience as strong as ever.
