Formed in Wakefield and gaining over 85 million streams worldwide, the band is made up of vocalists and guitarists Will Booth and Danny Hepworth, alongside Belfast-born Ryan Johnston.
The band name is drawn from the reality of hard graft on a low income with a lust for life. It is a phrase that has remained central to their identity and songwriting, as Skinny Living’s music reflects themes of working-class life, resilience, and connection.
The album explores relationships, family ties, and the everyday difficulties that shape people’s lives, drawing influence from soul, folk, pop, R’n’B and indie rock, all tied together with honest lyrics.
Their upcoming performance offers a chance for Galway fans to hear the album’s songs live in an intimate setting.
Support on the night comes from emerging Galwegian indie-folk artist, Molly Fawl.
