Medical Technology Ireland 2025 is on 24-25 September 2025 at Galway Racecourse and is Europe’s second largest and fastest growing medical device design and manufacturing Show. The event this year features more than 350 global suppliers across four floors.This year’s Medical Technology Ireland Conference brings together industry leaders for two days of focused discussions on Medtech innovation, resilience, and growth.
Day One opens with a panel on Innovation in Medtech, moderated by John Kilmartin, Kilmartin Regulatory and featuring Emma Callinan from Enterprise Ireland and Frances Mitchell Valanti? from Teleflex, exploring Europe’s evolving role in global market leadership. The day continues with sessions on the strategic role of project management led by Ceiteach Mac Stiofan, Boston Scientific and colleagues, and a panel on managing global uncertainty including Brendan Boland of Loci Orthopaedics. Driving clinical research will be examined by Lisa Lynch, Boston Scientific, Tom Melvin, NUI Galway, and others, highlighting how clinical innovation is shaping the sector’s future.
Day Two starts with the Women in Medtech Forum, followed by an Investment Readiness panel moderated by Mary Rodgers, Portershed with key insights from David O’Flynn, Goodbody and Michelle Tierney, Symphysis. The afternoon’s Leadership in Action session features Aoife Prekker from Medtronic and John Farragher from Embritech Consulting, focusing on leadership driving Medtech’s future.
