The Connacht Hospitality Group has been nominated for an incredible 23 awards at the prestigious Irish Bar and Cocktail Awards 2025, recognising excellence across its five standout venues: The Connacht Hotel, HYDE Bar, M Fitzgerald’s Bar, An Púcán, and Galway Bay Golf Resort.
The nominations span a wide range of categories and reflect the diversity, innovation, and quality that each venue brings to Galway’s vibrant hospitality scene.
An Púcán, a much-loved city-centre favourite, was nominated in seven categories, HYDE Bar, renowned for its award-winning cocktails and glamorous interiors, earned nominations in eight categories. M Fitzgerald’s Bar, located in the heart of the Latin Quarter received nominations for, City Bar, Hotel Bar of the Year, Local Bar of the Year, Trad Bar of the Year and Signature Cocktail of the Year. Galway Bay Golf also impressed judges, securing nominations in three categories
Meanwhile, The Connacht Hotel was acknowledged through the nominations of its popular bar spaces, underscoring the hotel’s continued commitment to providing excellent food, drink, and service in a family-friendly environment.
Speaking on the nominations, Peter Fitzgerald, Group General Manager of the Connacht Hospitality Group, said that to receive 23 nominations across five venues is a huge honour and a reflection of the dedication, creativity, and passion of our entire team.
“We’re proud to represent Galway on the national stage and delighted that each of our venues has been recognised for what they uniquely bring to the table,” he said.
The winners of the Irish Bar and Cocktail Awards will be announced later this month at a Gala Dinner in the Longwood House Hotel in Newcastle West and the Connacht Hospitality Group is excited to celebrate this milestone alongside its hardworking teams and loyal customers.
