The House Hotel, the renowned boutique property in the heart of Galway’s Latin Quarter, has completed an extensive renovation of 40 guest rooms, investing €500,000 on upgrading all bedrooms, staircases, and corridors.
The upgrades include modern interiors, high-end finishes, smart in-room technology, and enhanced amenities such as coffee machines and plush bedding.
This marks the final phase of the hotel’s full refurbishment, following a €1.2 million ground floor renovation in 2023/24 that added seven new deluxe bedrooms and a Café Bar and outdoor seating area.
General Manager Fran Toomey highlighted the hotel’s commitment to luxury and guest satisfaction, noting that the refreshed design reflects both contemporary tastes and Galway’s cultural heritage. The hotel now offers an even more elevated experience for leisure and business travellers alike.
Andrew O’Neill, Choice Hotel Group said they are a company deeply rooted in Galway over the last 10 years.
“We are delighted with the response to our refurbishment of the property and will hopefully be sharing news of further expansion of the property in the coming months.
“With a team of 25 staff, The House Hotel continues to support the local economy while delivering standout service,” he said.
