Galway City Karting is one of the top activities in Galway. The track, located in Liosban Industrial Estate, provides adrenaline-fuelled fun to everyone aged seven and up.
The track opens from 1pm on weekdays and from 10am on Saturday and Sunday. Galway City Karting has karts for all ages from seven years and upwards. All of the karts are powered by Honda engines, with 160cc junior karts and 200cc adult karts.
If you want to practise your racing skills and beat the fastest lap, the 20-minute or 40-minute arrive and drive options are ideal. The Grand Prix package is perfect for groups of eight or more people. It consists of three 10-lap heats each, a semi-final and a grand-final. 1st, 2nd and 3rd places receive prizes, and a bottle of bubbly is presented at the winner’s podium.

They have updated all the surfaces and driver accommodations and have a brand new fleet of state-of-the-art Sodi Go-Karts.
Timing is everything because your lap will be professionally timed by the Tag Heuer System. This is the same system as is used in motor sport and the same system used in F1 Professional Racing.
