What a year it’s been so far for Galway’s sustainable print and sign company iSupply Ltd., with the company taking home not one but two accolades from the prestigious Irish Print Awards. The company received Gold in the Report and Accounts printer of the Year, and Bronze in the Sustainability Printer of the Year categories, both of which in recognition of their work with Galway’s own Baboró for their International Arts Festival for Children 2024 programme.
Having taken place in Clontarf Castle this year, the Irish Print Awards provides a platform for the recognition of excellence in the printing and signage industry, and a chance for peers in the sector to celebrate their achievements and hard work. The iSupply team in attendance were very enthusiastic and great celebrations were at the awards night and on their return west.
Judges remarked that the company’s clear dedication to quality and sound sustainability practices was a major deciding factor in them receiving first place, and helped them to stand out amongst stiff nationwide competition.
This marks iSupply’s first major victory at the Print Awards, and is made all the more special when taken in the context of the positive impact that Baboro’s work has on the children of Galway and Ireland.
Owner Louis Donnellan said the recent wins with PWC in sustainability and the Irish Print Awards have proven how far they have come.
“If it takes a village to raise a child - it takes a team to build a company - everyone has a role, we are all responsible for this win.
“We have invested in people, our building and equipment to make this a better, focused and more resilient business. As the world around us is full of uncertainty - it’s a good feeling to know that within our controllables we are at the top of our game - literally the best in the business.”
With these awards coming directly off the back of iSupply being named Sustainable Small Business of the Year at the PwC Business Post Sustainable Business Awards, iSupply has firmly established themselves as ones to watch in the print, signage and direct mail space.
