Order books are now open at Tony Burke Motors for the Toyota Land Cruiser Commercial which is set to arrive this June.
Unveiled at last year's Ploughing Championships, the new evolution of the Land Cruiser combines retro-design and cutting-edge technology. It is the first Land Cruiser model in 15 years and is priced at €57,192 excluding VAT.
Built for the toughest terrains, the Land Cruiser is renowned among Irish farmers, adventurers, and motoring enthusiasts for its quality, durability, and reliability. The new model is fitted with a powerful 2.8-litre diesel engine, a redesigned turbocharger, and an advanced eight-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a smoother and more efficient driving experience both on and off-road.
It matches the towing capacity of the Toyota Hilux, now towing up to 3.5-tonnes. This makes it a worthy choice for drivers moving heavy loads, managing a farm, or working in rugged terrain.
Performance features consist of 204hp max power, a max torque of 500Nm, 10.6-litre/100km fuel consumption, and acceleration of 0-100km/h in 12 seconds.
Toyota says the introduction of electric power steering replaces the former hydraulic system, improving off-road handling while enabling lane assist as part of Toyota's Safety Sense System.
Toyota says the latest model features a spacious, high-tech cabin with significant upgrades designed for driver and passenger convenience. These features include adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, front ventilated and heated seats, smart entry and digital key, and power back door and opening rear tailgate window.
The intelligent cockpit ensures connectivity between the car and a smartphone via the MyToyota App, allowing drivers to check trip data and even control remote air conditioning. Additionally, it comes with Wireless Smartphone Integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ), a rear-view camera with washer, and front and rear parking sensors for enhanced safety.
The new Land Cruiser is backed by a three-year or 100,000km manufacturer’s warranty; a three-year or unlimited mileage surface rust or paintwork warranty; and a 12-year or unlimited mileage corrosion perforation warranty. Toyota says this robust manufacturer's warranty ensures peace of mind.
