There will be a buzz around Galway's Town Hall Theatre this summer, with the arrival of Bumbled, a play all about bees... and their bits.
Performed by Galway's own Colin Hamell, Bumbled is a one-man play billed for Friday, June 20.
Bumbled follows 'Pascal', an Irish honeybee, as he embarks on a poignant journey to tell the world about the importance of bees, how to save the planet, his wish to find true happiness with his French girlfriend, while continuously trying to avoid his manhood falling off, his balls exploding, and certain death.
Written by Bernard McMullen, directed by Carmel O’Reilly, with sound design by Stephen Russell, Bumbled is produced by TírNa Theatre and Here Comes Everybody.
