Eric Lalor played Fair City's crime boss, Cathal Spillane, for RTE

Celebrated Dub stand-up, Eric Lalor, will bring his latest show to Monroe’s, in Galway’s West End, on Saturday, May 10, with doors opening at 7pm for a fully seated show.

His one-man show Lol’er By Nature, riffs off everyday life, and dives into the madness of modern Ireland.

Known for his sharp wit and unmistakable capital city charm, Lalor has spent more than a decade building a reputation as one of Ireland’s leading comedy acts.

His podcast You Must Be Jokin’, co-hosted with fellow Ballymun native Willa White, picked up Best Podcast at the Digital Media Awards, cementing his position as one of Ireland’s most entertaining voices.

From beginnings on Des Bishop’s Joy in the Hood to headlining top venues across the country, his journey has been anything but ordinary.

Fans of RTÉ’s Fair City will also recognise him as ‘Cathal Spillane’, the villainous gangster whose dark deeds left a lasting impression.

Lalor is an award-winning actor, taking home Best Actor at the London Ealing Festival for his role in the short film In The Valley of the Moon. He’s also appeared in Amber, Brigid & Eamonn, The Commute, and the lockdown hit Socially Distant. He is a two-time winner of the Irish Comedian of The Year accolade.
