The artists in the exhibition are Ceva Thomas, Regina O’Dea and Svetlana Akusevits.
Ceva is a mixed media visual artist from Galway city. She would describe her art as a mixture of abstract and surrealism, using lots of colour and suggestive line and texture. She hopes her art brings some colour and happiness to the viewer.
Regina O’Dea is a mixed media artist from the Burren. Her artistic practice has a strong focus on nature and the memories held in material objects. For this exhibition, Regina has produced a collection of cyanotypes.
Svetlana Akusevits is an Estonian textile artist living in Galway. Svetlana studied textiles at ATU and has produced a series of felted pictures for this exhibition.
The exhibition runs from April 4 to April 13 and is open daily from 11am to 5pm.
