Industrial Info Resources, a global market research company headquartered in Galway city, is planning to expand its sales and research division, with 20 new positions to be created at its Parkmore operation before the year ends.

Further expansion plans were discussed last week at a meeting between Micheál Martin and Ed Fox, president of Galway-headquartered Industrial Info Resources, when the Taoiseach visited Austen, Texas, on his whistle-stop tour of the USA in the lead up to St Patrick’s Day.

Industrial Info Resources (IIR ), which has its European headquarters in Galway, employs 900 high-level researchers worldwide, with 75 employees based in Parkmore, Galway. Established in 1983, it provides specific market information to investors across several sectors throughout dozens of countries, especially project and plant spending intelligence.

The company is set to expand its sales and research divisions in 2025, creating new job opportunities in Ireland. A number of the 20 new positions in Galway city are expected to be roles for industry professionals with foreign language skills.

“Our Galway office has been integral to our success in Europe, and with our expansion plans, we are excited to continue growing here,” said Fox. “We look forward to welcoming talented individuals to our team who are passionate about innovation and strategic research.”

The company said its expansion will bring new roles in both sales and research, offering an opportunity for locals to join a thriving international company, poised to enter a period of substantial growth.

IIR has offices in 17 locations throughout the world. Its staff researches markets in 60 languages, and is available around the clock to respond to sales, marketing, and research questions.
