An evening of choral song and music will be held in St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church this Saturday, March 22, to raise funds for the Galway Rape Crisis Centre and Galway Simon.
Music and song from the St Nicholas’ Parish Choir, Rise Choir, Cloughanover Community Choir, St Patrick’s Brass Band, University Hospital Choir, and Galway Golf Club Choir will be dedicated to the memory of Eniola Adekeye, who died in 2015.
Originally from Nigeria, Adekeye lived in Renmore and was a student of the University of Galway in the Faculty of Arts. To mark her 10th anniversary, her family, friends, and the congregation of St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church, are inviting the people of Galway to attend and enjoy Saturday’s concert, celebrating Eniola’s life and legacy.
Admission free, donations welcome.
