One of Galway’s newest Latin music bands, Los Wachos, will perform at Monroe's Live Backstage venue on Friday, March 21 at 9pm.
Formed in Galway and comprising musicians from diverse backgrounds, the group brings together styles and influences from across Latin America and beyond.
The band features Irish bassists and drummers, Spanish violinists and accordionists, a Brazilian percussionist, an Argentinian saxophonist, and a Chilean guitarist and lead vocalist.
Since their formation, Los Wachos has been performing regularly in Galway’s pubs, collaborating with local musicians, and building a dedicated following.
Los Wachos said: “Over the past two years, we have been actively performing in various pubs around Galway, fostering collaboration within the vibrant local music scene.
“We strive to not only entertain but also to connect with our audience, reminding our Latino friends of our rich cultural heritage while offering a new musical experience to the Irish community.”
Los Wachos will be joined by special guests on the night, creating an evening of Latin-infused rhythms and high-energy performances.
