Pearse Stadium will host Galway's senior footballers as they take on Kerry in the final game of the Allianz Football League campaign where Pádraig Joyce's side have their sights set on a place in the final.

Throw-in is 3.45pm on Sunday, March 23. There are a number of permutations that can transpire in Sunday's encounter.

Galway, Dublin, and Donegal are all on eight points currently with the Tribesmen top of the pile due to a superior scoring difference. A Galway success over Kerry at Pearse Stadium should be sufficient to earn a league final placing. As well, Padraic Joyce's team could advance to the decider even if they lose to Kerry, depending on how Dublin, Donegal, and Mayo fare in their respective fixtures.

Kerry can claim a league final place if they overcome Galway, and either Dublin and Donegal are beaten. Then, scoring difference will come into play.

Victory will be the number one priority for Galway this Sunday. They have enjoyed a fantastic league campaign thus far, but defeat to Dublin last weekend has added some pressure to the game against Kerry.

Galway arrived in Dublin as the only team in the top three divisions with an unbeaten record but Dublin ended that run at Croke Park last Saturday evening. It was not all bad news for the Tribesmen as they welcomed Damien Comer back to the fold. The forward struck 1-02 as he almost inspired a second half comeback with Galway coming within two points early in the final quarter.

All roads lead to Pearse Stadium this Sunday in what promises to be a hugely entertaining day of football.
