Order books have opened nationwide at Mercedes-Benz dealerships for the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series two-seater cabriolet.
Described as "the sportiest model in the Maybach brand’s history", the new Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 is powered by a V8 4.0-litre biturbo engine that delivers 430 kW (585 hp ) of power and acceleration figures of 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds via a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.
Noticeable features include 21-inch forged wheels in five-hole or multi-spoke design, a nappa leather interior, and stainless-steel pedals and door sill trims.
Motor Distributors Limited (MDL ), the Mercedes-Benz distributors in Ireland, said that in view of the high level of specifications and craftmanship employed in its manufacture, and likely fluctuations in materials and component costs within the production chain – intending buyers will be given a quoted purchase amount at the time of ordering.
