Refreshed Volvo XC60 to arrive in Ireland next month

Volvo has announced a significant refresh for the XC60 for 2025, featuring updates in user experience, design, and comfort along with a faster and more responsive infotainment system.

Since the introduction of the Volvo XC60 in 2017, it has been the brand's top-selling model and one of the best-selling plug-in hybrids in Europe. Over 1.5 million units have been sold across the globe with 2024 seeing record sales.

The refreshed XC60 comes equipped with Volvo's new generation user experience, UX, which is designed to be more focused and personalised with several built-in Google services. As announced earlier this year, all Volvo models will come equipped with the new UX.

According to Volvo, the exterior of the refreshed XC60 brings a more contemporary look to the premium five-seater. The new air intake, with Volvo's iron mark, reflects the recent updates to the XC90. The refreshed XC60 also comes with new wheel options and darker rear lights.

The new model year introduces two new colours, 'Forest Lake' and 'Aurora Silver', both available on the refreshed XC60. In addition, 'Mulberry Red' will be available on the XC60 for the first time.

A larger 11.2-inch, free-standing central touchscreen enhances the interior experience in the XC60, comprising new features, apps and over-the-air updates. With smart storage, new cupholders, an improved wireless phone charger and a flexible and roomy load compartment, the interior of the XC60 is said to be versatile and practical.

Volvo notes that the XC60 now has an even quieter cabin with upgraded seats as standard. For an even more luxurious ride, there is the optional air suspension and laminated windows. The refreshed XC60 is also equipped with Volvo's air purification technology for enhanced well-being.

For better car audio, the XC60 is available with the Bowers and Wilkins High Fidelity system – with new speaker mesh design.

The refreshed Volvo XC60 will be available to order in Ireland from March 5.
