Galway GAA’s highly anticipated ‘Dancing Like a Star – Stateside’ is set to light up Hammerstein Ballroom on April 5. This spectacular event will bring together 20 couples from Galway, New York, Boston, Chicago, London and San Francisco to compete in a dazzling dance competition, all in support of Galway GAA’s long-term development.

The event will be part of a landmark weekend for Galway supporters, as thousands of fans travel from Ireland to see Galway play New York at Gaelic Park in the Connacht Senior Football Quarter-Final. This will make it one of the biggest Galway GAA weekends in U.S. history, bringing together the Irish community in an unforgettable celebration of sport, culture, and fundraising.

“This weekend is about more than just the game, it’s about celebrating the incredible Galway GAA community worldwide. ‘Dancing Like a Star – Stateside’ is a unique way to bring our supporters together, and with the Connacht Senior Football Championship game at Gaelic Park the next day, it promises to be a historic occasion,” said Paul Bellew, Chairperson, Galway GAA.

A weekend of sport, celebration, and community produced by Granted Productions and kindly sponsored by O’Neill’s, ‘Dancing Like a Star – Stateside’ promises to be a night of high-energy performances, audience voting, a live leader board, and special entertainment. Ollie Turner, the voice of Galway sport, will host the event, bringing his passion and expertise to the stage alongside a celebrity panel of judges. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an exclusive auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime prizes.

As title sponsor, O’Neill’s continues its legacy of supporting Gaelic Games, ensuring the success of Galway GAA both on and off the field. Granted Productions, the team behind this world-class production, brings their expertise in large-scale event management to create an unforgettable experience for participants and audiences alike.
