The 4 of Us will bring their fusion of roots and rock to Monroe’s Live on Saturday, March 29, with doors open at 7.30pm for a fully seated show.
Formed by Brendan and Declan Murphy in Newry, County Down, the brothers have carved out a lasting legacy in Irish music. With ten acclaimed albums to their name, their songs have featured in American, British, and Irish TV and film soundtracks.
Their hit single, ‘Mary’, remains one of the most-played tracks on Irish radio, and the band's 1989 debut album, Songs for the Tempted, achieved double platinum status.
Their success continued with the 1992 release of Man Alive, which saw them break into the British charts with the hit ‘She Hits Me’.
In the 2000s, The 4 of Us revisited their best-loved songs with Off the Record, which included previously unreleased tracks, ‘The Girl Next Door’, and ‘She's So Real’.
Their 2004 single, ‘Sunlight’, was voted fourth-best Irish single ever by Today FM listeners, further cementing their place in Irish music history.
More recently, the band has continued to evolve, releasing albums such as Fingerprints, Live at Vicar Street, and Sugar Island.
Their latest album, Crescent Nights, arrived in October 2024, marking yet another chapter in their impressive career.
With a rich history of storytelling through song and a signature sound, The 4 of Us promise a memorable night at Monroe’s Live.
