If you are looking to treat that special someone to a gorgeous romantic meal in a cosy and intimate venue this Valentine’s Day, then look no further than Blackrock Cottage in Salthill.
The award-winning restaurant’s team has created a menu with ‘something for everyone’ and is promising an evening to remember at one of Galway’s most popular eateries.
“The Valentine’s menu that we’ve created is what we feel people want to experience and enjoy when they’re out for a romantic meal,” explained Mathieu Teulier, general manager of Blackrock Cottage.
“Michael Maher and the team in the kitchen will be serving our very popular á la carte menu on both Valentine’s Day and Saturday evening, so we are very confident that we have something that will appeal to everyone’s tastes.
“It’s not too complicated because we want it to appeal to a broad range of people, and I think it will satisfy both ‘foodies’ and more simple eaters,” he added.
“There’s something there for everyone and we want to make the occasion as relaxed and romantic as possible for all our guests.”
Blackrock Cottage, which was named ‘Best Restaurant in Galway’ last year, has an extensive wine list to choose from and a wide range of cocktails and non-alcoholic options. The Cottage also serves Guinness and some craft beers.
Blackrock Cottage’s Valentine’s offering is available on Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15. Blackrock Cottage is open seven days a week from 8am. It is located at the end of Salthill Promenade, near the famous Blackrock diving tower, and is the perfect location for a Valentine’s night out this month.
