Fans of indie rock, trad and late-night beats will enjoy this weekend’s line-up at Monroe’s Live, featuring The Complete Stone Roses, Dee Armstrong and megaTRAD.
Tomorrow ( Friday, February 7 ), join The Complete Stone Roses, the acclaimed band endorsed by original Stone Roses bassist Mani, who has often joined the tribute group on stage.
Known for their faithful recreations of classics like Fools Gold, I Am The Resurrection, and I Wanna Be Adored, the band go to extraordinary lengths to recreate the original sound, even sourcing a rare Rickenbacker 3000 bass, the same model used by Mani.

Doors open at 9pm, and tickets are available for €22 from www.monroes.ie Saturday, February 8, kicks off with celebrated multi-instrumentalist, Dee Armstrong of Kíla, as she unveils her debut solo album in Monroe’s intimate Backstage venue.
A force in Irish music for over three decades, Dee's performance will feature original compositions from the album, recorded and produced at her home in County Leitrim. The collection also includes collaborations on The Prince of Laughter, a traditional piece.
Joining Dee on stage are her sons Diarmuid and Lughaidh, along with a talented ensemble of musicians. Doors open at 7pm; tickets are €18.

Also on Saturday evening from 9pm, Monroe’s main stage hosts megaTRAD, one of the most exciting acts in contemporary trad.
Hailing from East Clare, the O'Dálaigh brothers and mandolin virtuoso Denis McAuliffe bring together traditional Irish roots with a modern bassline, beats and effects. Their music blends stomp, bass, pedal effects, and traditional instrumentation, and is a glimpse into the future of Irish trad.
Their acclaimed 'Tradscendental' sound has graced stages from Electric Picnic to Milwaukee Irish Fest. Tickets cost €15.
For those looking to dance into the early hours, Monroe’s Late Night Venue features resident DJ Macca, spinning chart hits and old-school anthems. Doors open at 11pm.
