Preparations are underway for Local Enterprise Week 2025 (March 3 to 7 ), which will see a broad and varied programme of events for Galway’s small business community, showcasing the range of supports available from Local Enterprise Office Galway.
These supports include the Lean, Green and Digital programmes, all of which enable small businesses to become more competitive and productive in how they work – saving money, time and energy. The new Grow Digital Voucher and Energy Efficiency Grants are just two of the financial supports available to eligible small businesses operating in the Galway city and county area.
The Grow Digital Voucher offers small and medium businesses with up to 50 employees financial support of up to €5,000 to embrace digital technology through investment in software and training/IT configuration.
In addition to training and financial support, LEO Galway also offers expert mentoring for small businesses who need advice on a variety of topics, including recruitment, employing for the first time, human resources and people management.
