With a career spanning more than two decades, award-winning artist Paddy Casey returns to Monroe's Live on Saturday, March 8, with doors opening at 8pm.
Born and raised in Dublin, Paddy Casey honed his craft busking on Grafton Street. It was not long before he caught the attention of Sony Music Ireland, releasing his debut album, Amen (So Be It ), in 1999.
His career has taken him across the globe, touring with acts like The Pretenders, R.E.M., Ian Brown, Blondie, and Tracy Chapman.
His follow-up album, Living (2003 ), became one of the bestselling albums in Irish history, with hits like Saints and Sinners and The Lucky One.
Casey’s third album, Addicted To Company, Part 1, saw him expanding his horizons with performances on The Late Show with David Letterman in the US. This era also marked a turning point for Paddy, as he decided to leave his record label to embrace creative freedom.
His live performances are marked by a strong connection to his audience.
