Philadelphia’s singer-songwriter Dave Hause is coming to Galway to play the Róisín Dubh on Saturday, February 22.

Formerly of The Loved Ones, Hause is on an acoustic tour of his former band’s back catalogue, and his own 2023 release Drive It Like It’s Stolen.

In 2024, Hause played to sold-out major venues in Britain and Europe. This year he will tour of Britain and Ireland with his brother Tim Hause, meandering through smaller, intimate venues.

Dave Hause’s songs have always been rooted in tangible reality - of emotion, of environment, of circumstance. Since releasing his debut album, Resolutions, in 2011, the US songwriter has poured his whole heart, soul and life into his music.

Drive It Like It’s Stolen, is his sixth full-length album. Its 10 songs overflow with Hause’s trademark urgency and passion, shimmering with a truth that reflects the harsh realities of life in this day and age, as well the intermittent jolts of joy that punctuate it within the setting of an unforgiving capitalist backdrop, and crumbling American democracy.
