The Galmont Hotel & Spa is going for gold this month having been shortlisted for two awards at the upcoming Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Hotel Awards 2024.
The city centre stalwart is a finalist for Ireland’s Breakfast Experience, and Ireland’s Front of House Team. The winners of the awards will be revealed at a ceremony taking place at The Galmont Hotel on Tuesday January 26.
The Galmont’s double nomination comes hot on the heels of a windfall of wins enjoyed by the business at the 2024 Irish Hotel Awards where the team scooped four prestigious accolades including: Four Star Hotel of the Year; City Hotel of the Year; Excellence in Service; and Great Irish Breakfast at the ceremony held at Johnstown Estate in Meath in October.
General Manager Stefan Lundstrom said they are very excited to be finalists in two categories in the upcoming Virgin Media Business Gold Medal Awards.
"The quality of our breakfast offering and overall level of service has been getting lots of attention over the last year due to the incredible efforts that every member of our team has been putting into providing the best possible guest experience when people stay with us in Galway.
"We are of course hoping to be winners on the night but take enormous pride in being named as finalists.”
