Relive the timeless sound of Mancunian legends The Stone Roses through acclaimed tribute band The Complete Stone Roses at Monroe’s Live on Friday, February 7, with doors open at 9pm.
Endorsed by the original band, The Complete Stone Roses have earned widespread praise for their faithful recreation of the iconic music.
The band has even received approval from bassist Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield of both The Stone Roses and Primal Scream fame.
Mani himself has often joined the tribute act on stage, remarking: “They do our songs real justice. At times, they play even better than we did.”
With over a decade of performances, The Complete Stone Roses has built a reputation as one of the most successful tribute bands, regularly selling out venues across Britain and Ireland.
Their set-lists transport fans through The Stone Roses’ catalogue, from early material to era-defining classics like ‘Fools Gold’, ‘I Am The Resurrection’, and ‘I Wanna Be Adored’.
The Stone Roses were pivotal in shaping the indie-rock scene, emerging from the Madchester movement and the cultural hub of the Hacienda nightclub.
Their music remains as influential today as it was during their heyday.
To honour this legacy, The Complete Stone Roses go to extraordinary lengths to recreate the original band’s sound, even sourcing a rare Rickenbacker 3000 bass, the same model used by Mani.
Over the years, the tribute band has graced stages at major festivals such as Rock Ness, the Isle of Wight Festival, Live at Loch Lomond, and Get Loaded, while also performing internationally in the USA, Australia, Holland, Bahrain, and Dubai.
