To celebrate the 1,500th anniversary of the death of St Brigid, there will be a talk in Moylough Community, Heritage and Resource Centre on Friday, January 31, at 8pm.
Dr Elizabeth Dawson, lecturer in history at Carlow College, will deliver her presentation 'St Brigit: forging an early medieval saint’.
The talk is supported by Galway Co Council. All are welcome. Refreshments served.
