The Björn Identity are set to ‘Take A Chance’ at Monroe’s Live this Saturday, December 7, as they recreate the iconic sound, style, and energy of the global Swedish sensation.
Founded by Karen Rush and Richard Doubleday, this ensemble has performed sell-out shows at venues across Ireland, Britain, Germany and Austria.
Now they are back at the award-winning Galway venue to showcase the songs that defined a generation with their distinctive vocal harmonies. Doors open from 8pm.
Together, they have recreated the flamboyant costumes that pay homage to the original group's fashion-forward style.
Complete with the choreography that is uniquely ABBA, the set features a replica of Benny’s famous white piano, giving The Björn Identity a level of authenticity that should delight fans of all ages.
This ‘ABBA in Concert’ experience features the greatest hits from ‘Dancing Queen’ to ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Thank You For the Music’ and ‘Knowing Me Knowing You,’ inviting audiences to relive the golden era of pop.
At midnight, Shillelagh Law brings a bold twist to Irish traditional music to the backstage venue, while DJ Simon delivers your favourite hits on the main stage.
Tickets to The Björn Identity €22.50. Shillelagh Law tickets €10.
