Tomorrow, Friday, November 29, Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, The Red Hot Funky Peppers, will take the stage at 9pm. Returning as part of their Californication 25th Anniversary and Greatest Hits Tour, the group will celebrate the iconic album that solidified the Chilis’ place in rock history.
The Red Hot Funky Peppers have rejuvenated their line-up, now featuring talented bassist Hugo Oliveira, alongside Martin McIntyre on vocals, Andre Carvalho on lead guitar, and Jonatan Krasuski on drums. Their authentic sound, a homage to the Californian legends, will resonate through hits like By the Way, Under the Bridge, and Give it Away. Tickets are €12.
On Saturday, November 30, Monroe’s Live will host the powerful charity event, Rock Against Homelessness In The West, at 9:30pm. Spearheaded by Ireland’s beloved DJ Jenny Greene, alongside DJ Fergal D’Arcy and Irish trad band Shillelagh Law, this event will raise essential funds for Focus Ireland.
Supported by Arachas Insurance, this night of music and solidarity will feature MC Laura Fox and aims to highlight the deepening homelessness crisis. Tickets are €24.
Rock fans are in for a treat on Thursday, December 5, when former Kasabian lead singer Tom Meighan graces the Monroe’s Live stage as part of his RAW 24 acoustic tour. With a career spanning hits like Fire, Club Foot, and Shoot the Runner, Meighan is embarking on a new chapter with his solo debut album, The Reckoning.
His performance will blend new material with Kasabian classics. Doors open at 8pm; tickets €25.
