With a high energy ABBA tribute night, soul-stirring trad tunes from Shillelagh Law and late-night DJ beats, Monroe’s Live is the place to be on Saturday, December 7.
Take a Chance with The Björn Identity as they bring the golden era of ABBA to life, with doors open at 8pm.
This tribute band captures the magic, sound, and style of the legendary Swedish group. From the dazzling costumes and choreographed dance routines to Benny’s iconic white piano, every element of their performance is a homage to ABBA’s pop legacy.
At midnight, Shillelagh Law brings a bold twist to Irish traditional music for a spirited late-night celebration in the Backstage venue. Forged in the midlands, the band features Adam Kelly on banjo and mandolin, Chris Leonard on vocals and guitar, and the multi-instrumental virtuoso, Aidan Burke.
The trio infuses their performances with untamed rebellion, influenced by their passion for music which is rooted in trad with a bold, modern edge.
For those who enjoy late-night dancing, DJ Simon takes over the Monroe’s main stage with a set guaranteed to keep the party going from midnight.
Tickets to The Björn Identity are €22.50 and Shillelagh Law and late-night DJ Simon are €10.
