Galway Youth Theatre @ Galway Arts Festival

AN ESSENTIAL part of every Galway Arts Festival is productions from Galway Youth Theatre and the company will present two shows this year.

DNA’(Deoxoribonucleuicacid ) by Dennis Kelly is a poignant, sometimes hilarious, tale with a very dark heart about a lonely and terrified boy who becomes the victim of the ‘cool’ gang at school.

Directed by Niall Cleary, DNA will run at the Nuns Island Theatre from Tuesday July 14 to Saturday 25 at 1pm.

Scarborough by Fiona Evans is the story of a dangerously charged romance between a 15-year-old and a teacher. They take off to a hotel and while they there they laugh, quarrel, and have sex, they do not go outside. They do not want to be discovered.

Directed by Andrew Flynn, Scarborough will run at the House Hotel from Monday July 13 to Saturday 25 at 5pm and 8pm.

Seating is limited for both shows so early booking is advised. There are no shows on Sunday.
