"My work seeks to illustrate the emotional world of humans through the imagery of animals," Lorraine Fletcher explained. "We are all interconnected and I love capturing these tender, often fragile moments between these creatures, so we are inspired and reminded to cherish them in our own lives.
"I didn’t set out to regularly paint foxes, although I have always been drawn to their curiosity and charm. Now, they are a recurring theme in my work, and I love bringing their cheeky loveable personalities to life on canvas. The foxes across my work engage in moments of love, tenderness and play, activities we can all learn from."
