GSPCA opens new charity shop in Loughrea

The Galway SPCA have announced that they have opened a new charity shop in Loughrea. In the shop, you will find a variety of high quality items including clothing, small pieces of furniture, shoes, household items and plenty of hidden gems. All of the money that comes in through sales goes directly into supporting the work that the charity does and helping the animals in their care.

Next time you’re in Loughrea, you can find the GSPCA at 58 Main Street, X62 X891. The new shop opens weekly from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm.

Of course, if you don’t live in Loughrea, you can visit one of the GSPCA's other shops in the Briarhill Industrial Estate, Athenry or Ballinasloe. The charity is also delighted to accept donations in each of these locations.

You can find the locations of each shop below:

Briarhill shop: 40 A Briarhill Business Park, H91 T66T.

Athenry shop: Barrack Street, Athenry, H65 X021.

Ballinasloe shop: Main Street, Ballinasloe.

A fundamental aim of the charity is to care for animals in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or those at risk due to a change in circumstances. It has a sanctuary based between Killimor and Portumna, and a cattery in Briarhill.
