Locally made gifts galore at Umbrella Le Chéile Artisan Market this weekend

Shopping local couldn’t be easier this Christmas with the wonderful Umbrella Le Chéile Artisan Market, taking place this Sunday, November 17, from 11am to 5pm at the Galway Rowing Club. Situated right on the River Corrib in Woodquay, this fabulous indoor venue will hold host to an array of handcrafted products by artists, designers and producers from the west of Ireland.

A group run by traders, for traders, Umbrella Le Chéile’s focus is helping to support and promote local products that are handmade, environmentally friendly and sustainable. From fine art to handbags, gorgeous festive gifts to photography, there’s something for everyone, and maybe a little something for yourself!

Teaming up once again with their friends in Café Link, Galway city’s only not-for-profit café, visitors to the market can also expect to be treated with freshly made cakes, biscuits, muffins and more. With Funky Bean serving up a storm from their barista truck and several new traders to the market, shoppers can pop on down, enjoy a hot cuppa and browse of some of the best locally crafted gifts Galway has to offer.
