The popular Local Food and Craft Fair, organised by Local Enterprise Office (LEO ) Galway, will return to Black Box Theatre at the end of this month. The event showcases Galway's designers, handcrafted goods and artisan produce across more than 50 stands which will feature the best in locally produced gifts.

Since 2012, the Local Craft and Food Gift Fair has grown in popularity and reputation – featuring some of the best local crafts people and artisan food producers. In response to this success, this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever. This two-day fair is a great opportunity to find unique locally-made gifts before Christmas, along with a wide range of locally produced artisan food products.

This year, Barnardo the Magician will be keeping the kids entertained with balloon creations and magic shows over the course of the weekend, guaranteeing a great family day out.

Among this year's exhibitors are; Fluff Beag, Aideen Monaghan Art, The Wonky Woolins, Builin Blasta and Irish Socksciety.

The 2024 event takes place on Saturday, November 30, from 10am until 6pm, and Sunday, December 1, from 11am until 5pm, at the Blackbox Theatre, Dyke Road, Galway. The Local Food and Craft Fair's charity partner this year is Galway Hospice.
