This wasn’t just due to our intense training sessions; it stemmed from a surprising culprit – insufficient sodium around training. Even with a healthy, whole foods diet, our rigorous training sessions which were more than an hour long, and sometimes taking place twice a day, were still depleting electrolytes faster than we could replace them."
